Our CEO’s story – The incredible story of Ramesh Anumolu’s journey as an entrepreneur
Ramesh Anumolu established Global Pharma Tek 10 years ago with a great vision of helping individuals with the right skills find employment in the right companies.
Today, GPT is an industry leader providing a range of high-quality services in staffing and clinical research and trading with high standards. The company can meet any specification criteria while ensuring full compliance with all protocols.
Ramesh Anumolu grew up in a small town of Andhra Pradesh. After completing his Masters in Computer Application, he joined a private firm as programmer in Hyderabad and later moved to the USA. Like many others, Ramesh too wanted to prove himself in a foreign country.
During his stay in the USA, he got the opportunity to meet several youngsters who were desperately looking for jobs and were not able to get employed in the companies they wanted to. Ramesh saw this as an opportunity to help the unemployed youths find their career paths. Thus began his journey to establish Global Pharma Tek.
Ramesh founded the company with an innovative and enthusiastic team, who were ready to help him with his mission.
“A large part of my entrepreneurial mindset is ingrained, says Ramesh. There are many lessons learned along the way, there have been great mentors and dogged determination, risk, planning and what some may call as luck or fate. There have been many people and lessons along the way that help me achieve my goals. There has been also an inner drive to build a business and most importantly a mission to help people, especially job seekers.
The Turning Point
Global Pharma Tek was started in the year 2011 as one of the CRO companies to meet the needs of life science companies, and the prime focus was on workforce services.
“In fact, I realized companies faced great difficulties attracting and retaining the right people, more than any other industry. I did my own research and met few people in the industry and found that there were only few agencies that were able to meet the demand and source the right talent to the life science companies. There were so many companies who were still struggling to hire the right skilled talent”, says Ramesh
Ramesh took time off to study the Life Sciences industry, met people who were working in the industry for years and after months of learning, took the decision of starting a company with an innovative and expertise team who could provide flexible services. Thus, Global Pharma Tek was founded in the year 2011.
Taking the leap
“We pivoted our company into the Life Sciences space and that made all the difference,’ says Ramesh. Focusing on quality of service, the small team put its enthusiasm for filling the employment requests of clients in pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies.
Ramesh founded the company to create an employment opportunity to help jobseekers and employers with the right platform and help in fast track process of delivering life therapies for drug manufacturing companies.

The CEO’s biggest challenge
The biggest challenge that Ramesh faced was bringing the right people into the company who aligned not only intellectually, but culturally. As we grow together, we are making sure that we attract and retain the right people with the right qualification and experience, who have the same ideals and purpose.
“I am always motivated by the end results. Have an innate ability and tenacity to push through when times are rough. I try to focus on big picture but at the same time, I make sure that am aware of the setbacks, unforeseen circumstances and adversity,” – says Ramesh.
